Clients who participate in our benchmarking service receive a quarterly report comparing their levels of risk and return over different categories of investments, supported by tailored commentary and analysis. Performance is measured by a combination of returns achieved and risks undertaken, to highlight the fact that higher rates of return can normally only be achieved by exposing the Council to additional risk.

Because we know each of our clients’ financial position and investment strategy in depth, we provide a much more detailed explanation of differences in returns than other benchmarking clubs. This increases our clients’ awareness of the different investment strategies and products used by similar authorities, enabling them to reconsider their own investment strategy.
